Estimation of the Springback of Auto-Body Panels Based on Reverse Engineering

This paper put forward a way to estimate the springback of real stamping part based on reverse engineering(RE).The surface of the real stamping part was reconstructed by laser scanning,and the nodes mapping relationship was acquired by means of compelling deformation simulation.The overlap node of surfaces was acquired according to the geometry center of CAD model,the best rotating position was acquired by genetic algorithm(GA) taking mapping nodes' distance as fitness function,the normal distance of nodes was calculated,and it was taken as the springback value.The method has realized the accurate estimation of each part of stamping part,and it can offer correct guidance for the amendment of the mould.
