On the Construction of the Characteristic Database in University Library

Based on the features of the characteristic database, this paper analyzes the necessity of the construction of the characteristic database in university library, probes into the principles, contents structure and pattern of the construction of the characteristic database in university library, and puts forward some matters needing attention in the construction of the characteristic database.
