Three-Dimensional Numerical Experiment of Bearing Capacity of Road Foundation with Tunnel Based on Strain-Softening Model

With the development of large-scale construction project of urban metro, people attach more importance to the stability problem of road foundation with tunnel. This paper simulates load experiment to road foundation with shallow tunnel by strain control. Firstly, the practical method of post-peak parameter selection was introduced, and the "Prandtl's Wedge" problem was verified to demonstrate the effectiveness of the numerical experiment. Then, the load experiment took Construction-in-process of Dalian Metro as the subject, got the history of the bearing capacity versus vertical displacement from strain-softening model, the results indicate that experiment results are agree to the monitoring data, and we got progressive failure pattern of road foundation with tunnel which is valuable to strengthen the surrounding rock.
