Statistical Modeling of Non-Linearity in Decision Feedback Equalizer-Based Mixed-Signal Receivers

This paper develops a PDF decomposition-based statistical modeling methodology that captures front-end compressive nonlinearity in a high-speed link receiver with a multi-tap DFE, allowing for excellent matching with transient simulations for a 56Gb/s PAM-4 link.
