A genetic approach for trajectory planning in non-autonomous Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks with QoS requirements

Since resources are scarce and cannot be compensated easily on the battlefield, resource planning and battlefield management should be performed to reserve as much resources as possible. However, most resource planning problems encountered on the battlefield are computationally intractable. Therefore, no exact solution can be found when the battlefield size is large-scale. Hence we designed and implemented two algorithms to solve the battlefield planning problem. The first one uses a heuristic approach to find an initial plan. The second algorithm uses the genetic algorithm as an evolutional computation approach to improve the initial plan.
