Several phase approximations from gain samples — The linear frequency domain

In many applications from signal processing domain, the goal is to obtain the phase at any desired frequency. The aim of this paper is to compare different phase approximation methods, in the linear frequency domain, from gain samples, for different applications in signals reconstruction. In general, our attention was focused on those methods that required finally only a small number of gain samples to approximate the unknown component. We conclude that for each type of data different ways to approximate the unknown is suitable.
