Un tapiz fenicio en Galera (Granada, España): tapices y tejidos hispano-fenicios

The identification as a carpet of the famous painting on an Iberian tomb in Galera and not as a parietal painting, is the first representation of a Phoenician carpet, decorated with lotus flowers. Other monuments with representation of phoenician textiles have been recently discovered, which confirms their importance in spreading iconographic and decorative motives, as well as ideas and religious symbols.
