OnStability ofLargeSpace Structures using DVDFBController with Nonlinear Sensor andActuator

Itisknownthat DVDFBcontroller hassalient robust stability properties independent fromparameter values. It belongs toaclass ofstatic output feedback control ofvelocity anddisplacement bythecollocated sensors andactuators. However, all discussions onthestability haveignored theundesirable nonlinear properties ofsensors andactuators such assaturation, despite oftheir practical importance. Viewing this, this paperstudies therobust stability bytaking into account ofsaturations ofsensors andactuators. Somesimulations using flexible spacecraft areshown.
