Channel plan for upgrading capacity in multi-rate transparent networks

We investigate the impact of channel plan (CP) for upgrading network capacity in multi-rate transparent networks. A novel dispersion optimized channel plan (DOCP) scheme is proposed. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme improves the network performance significantly.
