Research of a Sliding Mode Variable Structure Method for Boost Converter

A sliding mode variable structure control of Boost converter based on the switching mode of the circuit is presented.Introducing a hysteresis loop in the control policy,constant switching frequency is achieved.The relationship between the switching frequency and the width of hysteresis loop are analyzed.The steps of adjusting the control parameters are given.The proposed controller has fast settling time,good robustness under load and input voltage variations,and can be easily implemented.
