How to Teach Computer Science to Students Who Don't Like Science

The english word “Science” usually connotes the so-called “natural sciences”, i.e. mathematics, astronomy, physics and perhaps also chemistry, but not, for instance, law, medicine, litterature, From this implied connotation of the word, it is clear where “computer science” fits in — precisely there where we always find it: in a department of “natural” sciences and (for historical reasons) even frequently in (or closely related to) the department of mathematics.
