Locomotive sanding device and control method

The device controls sanding amount through controlling rotating speeds of a motor and a gear in a sanding controller; According to the control method, a slide state of each wheel set is determined according to signals of a velocity sensor; a central processing unit controls a speed change motor to rotate at a corresponding rotating speed and to drive the sanding gear to rotate, so as to control the sanding amount; electricity gaining and loss of a sanding electric control valve and the rotating speed of the speed change motor are controlled according to received emergency signal, track condition signal and forced sanding signal together with correlative criteria. Accordingly, the locomotive sanding device and control method provided by the invention have advantages of safety, reliability, ingenious structure, good antiskid effect, capability of utilizing track surface adhesion to the most, reduction of a brake distance and wearing of wheels.
