Colour mixtures through theta-modulation technique

Abstract The sinusoidal carrier in the theta modulation defined by Lohmann is substituted by a rectangular one. In this way we are able to simplify the colouration techniques, and to a great extent to eliminate the carrier in the final image. The method can be used to obtain weighted mixtures of three colours.
