Event-triggered H∞ control for networked discrete-time Markov jump systems with repeated scalar nonlinearities

This paper investigates the event-triggered H ∞ control problem for networked discrete-time Markov jump systems subject to repeated scalar nonlinearities. An event-triggered communication transmission scheme is adopted and an event generator is presented between the controller and sensor. Our aim is to design a controller such that, although the unavoidable phenomenon of network-induced delays is fully considered, the resulting closed-loop system is stochastically stable with a prescribed H ∞ performance level. By employing a diagonally-dominant-type Lyapunov functional, a co-design method is established for the existence of an admissible controller and some available mode-dependent event-triggered parameters. Finally, the effectiveness of our proposed control design method is shown by a numerical example.
