The cutting mechanism (1) of the cantilever type tunneler is connected with the speed-increasing gearbox spline housing through a transition flange (2) and a universal coupling. The torque and rotational speed sensor is connected with the dynamometer, and transmits measured torque, rotational speed, and power signals to the control system. The device is simple in structure, and is reliable and practical.
