Multi-objective Control Model of Over-saturated Signalized Intersection

The cycle of over-saturated signalized intersection is often adopted the maximum length within acceptable range,it is not the true sense of the optimal because of neglecting other performance indexs. Take typical cross intersection and four-phase traffic signal controlling as example,presents an optimization model is presented to maximize capacity and to minimize average vehicle delay as well as average vehicle queue length by analyzing and computing the delay,capacity and queue length of every incoming lane of every phase in phase sequence order according to the initial queue length,real-time arrival rate and departure rate.The model takes both transport efficiency and effectiveness into account ,which provides useful information for multi-objective analysis in over-saturated intersection.
