Navigation Model of Driving on the Road Network

This work sudies the navigational features of driving along a road network, with the objective of defining a model of driving as a navigation procedure in road traffic. On the basis of the performed analysis of navigational characteristics of driving and of the result of carried out on-site measurements, a model of navigation procedure based on digital roadmap has been developed. The system has a built-in rate of resistance to disturbances originating in the interference during reception of satellite signals that are characteristic of land traffic enviroment. On-site measurements have confirmed satisfactory availibility of GPS signal and a model simulation confirmed its logical and funcional ability.
