Information Systems in Small Business: Are They Used in Managerial Decisions?
暂无分享,去创建一个
Much of the literature on MIS in small companies has been normative and qualitative in nature. In this paper, an attempt is made to analyze empirically the actual impact of MIS in these firms through a pilot study of small business managers' perceptions of their decision problems as related to the available information. A factual picture of the current state of MIS in these companies is then presented. Finally, the impact of MIS, as perceived by the managers, is assessed and a conclusion is drawn on new possibilities for information systems in small organizations.
