ConclusionA study of the values of the constants shows thatA3>A2>A1 andA3>A4>A5.A3 does not influence the limits of the values ofL andF. However,A3 influences their optimum values changing the position of the curves with relation to the axes. Since the constants are sum of costs of some individual items divided by seam constant or by product of seam and machine constants then with standardized cost figures and other data it will be possible to calculate the constants and to get the optimum panel and face lengths.
