In order to solve the problem of insufficient flexibility of power system brought by large-scale wind power integration, under the background of integrated power and gas energy system (IPGES), a system flexibility dispatch model considering power-to-gas (P2G) and demand response is proposed in this paper. The model divides the system flexibility into downward flexibility during the valley period and upward flexibility during the peak period, and takes the system downward and upward adjustable capacity maximization as the optimization objective respectively, which makes full use of peak load shifting of P2G and demand response, thus improving flexibility of system. And the modified IEEE 14-node power system and the Belgian 20-node gas system are used to constitute IPGES to verify the effectiveness of P2G and demand response in improving system flexibility. Compared with the other 3 scenarios, further reveals the advantages of P2G and demand response in promoting wind power consumption and improving flexibility of system.
