On a method for calculating the indices of the energy efficiency of gas-turbine cogeneration stations

On the basis of the physical method, a technique has been developed to calculate the indices of the energy efficiency of gas-turbine cogeneration stations using simple-cycle gas-turbine units. The efficiency and the specific fuel consumption were calculated on the basis of the obtained relationships, as were the relative fuel savings with respect to the case of separate generation of heat and electricity. The influence of the efficiency of the gas-turbine units and of the difference between the temperatures of the stack gases and the outdoor air on these parameters was analyzed.
