Flexible housing were created in order to fit the home owners needs to want a variety in their life cycle and lifestyle. Ever since 1969, when frame apartments were being constructed, to now our country has been constructing flexible housing, recently becoming a new trend. However, its characteristics and time series perceptions have yet to be analyzed. This study is based on 22 samples from 1968 to 2010, analyzing the characteristics and time series aspects of flexible housing. This study analyze the various home development phases, further delving into the various changes flexible housing underwent in the past and the unique aspects these homes provide. The methods used in this study include plan catalogues and the internet, along with documents even calling on experts in their sample areas that require more plan contents. In addition, case studies were done in order to extrapolate more relevant information. we grasped structural system, supply system and flexibility contents for main examples. In conclusion, the types of flexible housing will be classified into unit sizes flexibility and flexibility of inner unit. As the compatibility of bearing wall and column take a significant part in adjusting homes, recently the rooms flexibility of flat plate system are expanding.
