Analysis of air flow regularity in metro station during opening of protective door

In the opening of the sheilding gate,pressure gradient occurs between the platform and the tunnel due to piston wind and the heat-extracting system of the track,which results in an exchange of air and the ventilation at the station as a whole. A thorough study on the ventilation pattern at the station provides a solid foundation for the optimising of the air-conditioner design. The paper conducted research on the ventilation volume at various locations within the station and simulated the air exchange between the platform and the tunnel with the help of the CFD software. The results indicate that in the opening of the sheilding gate,air flows into the station hall from the entrance / exit,then to the platform,and then it runs through the gate and enters the train-running area. During this process,the air conditioner at the station plays a fairly insignificant part in the air exchange.
