A Novel Adaptive PWM Controller for DC-DC Buck Conversion

In this paper, we present a novel adaptive mechanism for dc-dc buck conversion which employs the system 1-bit feedback error signal to regulate the output voltage. The proposed adaptive error process unit (EPU) makes the output voltage converge efficiently and the multi-phase digital PWM (DPWM) is implemented with a differential ring oscillator. The proposed controller has been validated with simulation results.
