One of the most important tasks for continuous improvement is to eliminate the waste of working hours by analyzing actual times compared to standard times. In order to conduct such analysis, it is required to accurately measure individual movements of hands and bodies and clearly understand them. For the purpose of analysis, analysts rest often on commercial software tools such as Time Prism, Pro-Eye, etc. However, those tools are so complicate for beginners like undergraduate students to use and do not help them to create work standards and standard time. This paper aims to propose an accurate and quick work analysis tool that can help users accurately to figure out the individual movements of hands and bodies. This tool has three core modules for work analysis. The work analysis module is to analyze working hours with video image and calculate the cycle time of individual operations. The Modular arrangement of predetermined time standards (MODAPTS) analysis module is to analyze each work element to figure out the individual movements of hands and bodies and help to create work standards.
