AN OVERLAPPING COMPOSITE CONTROL SYSTEM FOR WATER SUPPLY NETWORKS

ABSTRACT Introduction of a water distribution control system for water supply networks is being seriously considered to improve water supply services to consumers and to reduce water leaks. The authors, who have already developed a centralized control method for water supply networks, devised a more compact control scheme which they have called an overlapping composite control system, and the scheme is presented in this report. It was verified by mathematical simulation that the control performance of the new system was equivalent to that of a centralized system.
