A noise suppression method for optical spectrum measurement utilizing SBS-based filter

A comprehensive noise suppression method for SBS-based filter is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. Accompanied with linearization, the processed spectral dynamic range of an OOK signal can be improved from ~10 dB to ~60 dB.
