Simulation of composite material mechanics strength is difficult,especially for the complex contracture in engineering design application.Based on the experiment data and by using large general program Hypermesh/Ansys,numerical simulation of flat end coverings on a MoR CA250 electric train body were conducted,and the maximum stress criterion is used to evaluate the composite material failure,which provides the basis of application design.
