Channel Estimation in Space and Frequency Domain for MIMO-OFDM Systems

This article discusses the channel estimation in the MIMO-OFDM systems based on space-frequency pilot tones,employing Least Square channel estimation algorithm and linear interpolation.Meanwhile,in order to reduce the errors from interpolation and noises,this article proposes a lowpass filter implemented by IFFT/FFT model following the operation of linear interpolation.Simulations indicate that the advanced system can remove the effect of noise effectively,making the bit error rate improved about 1 dB.Simulation results verify the validity of the proposed method.
