A minimal order model from zero to high frequencies and its fast generation for finite-element based 3-d electromagnetic analysis

A minimal order model for a prescribed accuracy is developed from zero to high frequencies for the finite element based analysis of general 3-D problems with arbitrary structures and inhomogeneous materials. This model entails no theoretical approximations. It is frequency and right hand side independent, and hence can be employed for both fast frequency and right hand side sweep. Moreover, it does not suffer from low-frequency breakdown. In addition, we develop an efficient algorithm to generate the proposed minimal order model in fast CPU time. Numerical experiments have demonstrated its superior accuracy and efficiency.
