후방추돌 시 목 상해 최적화 시트 개발을 위한 해석적 방법론 연구

Recently, whiplash injury from rear end collision has been important in automotive industrial because There is no successful safety device for rear end collision, even though there are a lot of vehicle safety device for front end collision such as seat belt, air bag. But, vehicle industry tends not to develop safety device for rear end collision because of not only cost but also it"s effectiveness. Therefore, this research developed methodology using Finite Element Method (FEM) for optimization about vehicle seat for whiplash injury as future study. All kind of analysis result was correlated with test result in order to obtain proper optimization. Also, this paper suggested seven design parameters such as shapes of seat, material properties for optimization.
