Successful 200G Transmission over 45 km of 4-Core single mode MCF

We demonstrated successful transmission of 200G data with pre-FEC BER 3.3×10-s (post-FEC Error-free) at optimum launch power over 45 km of a 4-core Multi-Core fiber (MCF) in 125 μm common cladding. The transmission performance matchedwith traditional single core SMF.
