A mobile terminal having a radio frequency calibration data recovering function and a method of backup and reinstalling

A mobile communication terminal having a radio frequency calibration data recovering function and a method for the backup and restoration of calibration data are provided to offer a function for automatically performing data backup in preparation for the damage of radio frequency calibration data and enabling a user to easily restore the data, thereby solving inconvenience that a user has to personally visit a service center of a manufacturing company to repair the terminal. A mobile communication terminal comprises the followings: a radio frequency calibration data backup unit(121) which generates radio frequency calibration backup data and stores the data in an SIM(Subscriber Identification Module) card(130); a radio frequency calibration data checking unit(122) which compares the check sum value of radio frequency calibration data stored in a memory(110) within the terminal according to power supply with a backup data value stored in the SIM card(130) and determines whether the data is damaged or not; and a radio frequency calibration data restoring unit(123) which reads the backup data stored in the SIM card(130) and overwrites the backup data in a memory area within the terminal when the data is damaged in the checked result of the radio frequency calibration data checking unit(122).
