New product development is a core weapon of competition in the 21st century and competitive environment which have been rapidly changed. Enterprises can get stable profit continuously through new product development and also they can take advantageous market position. The two main factors for the new product development are shortening development period and satisfying customer needs. In order to satisfy the desire of customers, the enterprises prefer the improvement of previous products which are products development through redesign rather than the product development having new concept. Despite of these strengths, the redesign of many products are not successful in the market. Because they use standard platform in previous products without change when they perform redesign customer"s needs can not be satisfied because they do not feel the difference between the previous products and redesigned products by just simple option changes. So through Kano Analysis and QFD by customer desire-based platform planning and redesign process development for mass customization environment.
