Three-Vector Predictive Current Control for Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor

To solve the problem of the limitation of the candidate voltage vector range of the conventional predictive current control strategy, which leads to large torque ripples , a three-vector predictive current control strategy is proposed; this method uses three basic voltage vectors in each sector of the two-level inverter voltage vector to equivalently synthesize an expected voltage vector, and the six expected voltage vectors synthesized in six sectors are used as candidate voltage vectors, so that the candidate voltage vector range can be expanded to any direction and any amplitude of the six sectors of the voltage vector; Compared with the conventional predictive current control, the strategy described in this article can effectively reduce the torque ripple by 80%. The MATLAB simulation experiment verifies the effectiveness of the method.
