Integrated in-Fiber Dual Whispering Gallery Mode Resonators Device

An integrated in-fiber dual whispering gallery mode resonators device is proposed. The device consists of a multimode optical fiber with a V-shaped end cavity, embedded by two microspheres and a tapered single-mode fiber. The whole device structure is sheathed by a capillary tube for protection. The device is simple in fabrication, robust in structure, and has a good quality (Q) factor of <inline-formula> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$3.2 \times 10^{4}$ </tex-math></inline-formula>.
