Preparation and Properties of PZT/Asphalt-Based Piezoelectric Composites Used on Pavement

0-3asphalt-based piezoelectric composites suitable for use in asphalt pavement were prepared with PZT-5Has piezoelectric phase and asphalt as matrix with hot-press molding method.The effect of preparation process,polarization conditions and the volume fraction of PZT-5H on the d33 value of the composites was studied.The dielectric properties of composites and its piezoelectric response under the dynamic loading were tested.The results indicate that the optimal volume fraction of PZT-5His 75%,and the optimum molding pressure and molding time are 10MPa,and 3min,respectively.The optimal polarization conditions are 3kV/mm(poling field),10min(poling time)and 50℃(poling temperature).The highest values ofer and d33 are obtained to be 32.95and 53.7pC/N.The output voltage of 0-3asphaltbased piezoelectric properties under dynamic load is 7.2Vand stored energy is 259.2μJ.
