Accelerograms for Dynamic Analysis under the New Australian Standard for Earthquake Actions

An ensemble of artificial accelograms developed using scholastic simulations that are both appropriate for the hard rock and rock conditions in Australia is discussed. The comparison shows good agreement between the simulated motions and the new Australian Standard for earthquake actions as well as the Somerville model in terms of their corner period behavior.
