QCS: Driving automatic data analysis programs for TFTR
暂无分享,去创建一个
QCS (Queue Control System) executes on the VAX Cluster, driving programs which provide automatic analysis of per‐shot data for the TFTR experiment at PPPL. QCS works in conjunction with site‐specific programs to provide these noninteractive user programs with shot numbers for which all necessary conditions have been satisfied to permit processing. A typical condition is the existence of a particular data file or set of files for a shot. The user provides a boolean expression of the conditions upon which a shot number should be entered into a private Queue. The user program requests a ‘‘ready‐to‐process’’ shot number through a call to a specially provided function. If the specified Queue is empty, the program hibernates until another shot number is available.
