This keynote focuses on a review of electroneurograms (ENGs) recording techniques and corresponding signal processing methods as well as dedicated microsystems design, assembly and packaging. Such minimally invasive advanced tools are being developed in Polystim Neurotechnologies Laboratory to construct multichannel sensing implantable devices. The latter will be used for several 3D recording purposes from different intracortical sites, such as vision, hearing, motor, etc. Also, in situ real time analog signal processing is employed before selected data and main decision being wirelessly transmitted to an outside base station for subsequent use. On the other hand, non invasive sensing methods and miniaturized systems using spectrometry optical techniques are used to monitor dysfunctions and other chronic diseases from inside the cortex such as epilepsy and cancer.
