Modeling and analysis of effectiveness concept of C~4ISR system based on UML/OCL

To unify the function and effectiveness requirements modeling,a method of modeling and analyzing effectiveness concepts of the command control communication computers intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance(C4ISR) system based on unified modeling language/object constraint language(UML/OCL) is presented. It extends the capability meta model of DoDAF 2.0 by introducing effectiveness-related concepts and constructs a C4ISR capability meta model(CCMM) which enables a function and effectiveness modeling.A UML-based C4ISR effectiveness modeling language is proposed by specifying the UML profile with the CCMM.Finally,a case study of C4ISR effectiveness modeling is provided to demonstrate the availability and applicability of the method. The method can make up for the deficiency of UML-based modeling techniques in domain-specific effectiveness analysis.
