Content Delivery Networks and Its Interplay with ISPs

This chapter surveys measurement studies on Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) in real world. Several representative CDNs with different architecture designs, client mapping policies and redirection mechanisms are examined, and the interplay between CDNs and ISPs are further discussed.
