Proceedings of the 20th ACM Symposium on Access Control Models and Technologies

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 13th ACM Symposium on Access Control Models and Technologies (SACMAT 2008). This year's symposium continues its tradition of being the premier forum for presentation of research results on leading edge issues of access control, including models, systems, applications, and theory. The call for papers attracted 79 submissions from 24 countries in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America. Each submission was reviewed by at least three reviewers who are experts in the field. Furthermore, extensive online discussions took place in making the selections for the symposium. The program committee selected 20 papers that cover a variety of topics, including role mining, workflow access control, access control in distributed environments, policy analysis and visualization, implementations issues in role based access control, usage control, obligations, integrity measurement, and attestation. The program also includes a keynote address and two panels.
