There are many ways like ECG (electrocardiogram) sensors, PPG (photoplethysmography) sensors, strain gauges, and pressure sensors to detect heart rate noninvasively. However, these sensors have some problems which are irregular detection and unstable output due to electric impedance at skin and disturbance by light. In this paper, to solve these problems, it is proposed the pulse wave measurement system using bipolar head on mode of the Hall sensor for measuring the radial artery pulse stable and linear. From experimental results, it is confirmed that the performance of implemented system is more stable and faster than that of PPG sensor or uniploar head on mode of Hall sensor.
