Multimedia Content From Film and Television

The current trend in Feature Film and Broadcast Television production is to look beyond traditional distribution channels for additional ancillary products. Such traditional products as domestic and foreign release of feature film and video, sound track and merchandising (toys, clothing, posters) are being supplemented with multimedia products. Video based games, interactive games on CD-ROM, “behind the scenes” video for broadcast, “behind the scenes” interactive CD-ROM, and “how did they do that?” television broadcast programs are examples of the repurposeing of content into new multimedia formats.
