Conflict Coordination and Its Implementation Probability of Product Low-Carbon Design

To solve the demand-attribute conflict problem of product low carbon design, a conflict coordination method, which integrates TRIZ (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving) and Extenics, is put forward. The low-carbon attributes are mapped to the product structures that is related to the core conflict problem. And then, the complex conflict problems are transformed to simple and independent ones relatively. The conflict problems with single or multi structure are coordinated by a formal conflict model and we can calculate the coordination probabilities to get a design scheme guide. At the end, a carbon footprint requirement for a screw compressor is taken as an example to verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the coordination method.
