Identifying and Measuring Crop Type Using Satellite Imagery
暂无分享,去创建一个
ABSTRACT LANDSAT imagery has been used successfully to identify crop types and to determine if these crops are supplied with water by means of irrigation. Two counties, Dawson and Phelps, located in central Nebraska, were used as a representative study area. The results have been applied successfully to many other areas and a statistical comparison shows that the results agree with current esti-mating methods. A discussion of interpretive methods using LAND-SAT satellite images and diazachrome composites of these images is pre-sented and the procedures for obtain-ing ground truth and the statistical analysis used are outlined.
