Nonlinear Modeling and Simulation of Switched Reluctance Generators

Based on the mathematical model of the switched reluctance motor,a nonlinear modeling of the switched reluctance generator was built up using relative blocks of Matlab/Simulink.A 3-phase 12/8 structure prototype SRM was simulated using the proposed model.The effectiveness of the model was demonstrated by the simulation result.The result shows that the SRG power generating system can stably issue the voltage of 220 V(DC).
