Apparatus and method for controlling doorlock using mobile phone and rfid

A door lock control apparatus using a mobile phone and an RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) and a control method thereof are provided to prevent burglary by generating an ID number, and enable members of his/her family to confirm coming in and out of each member. An RFID chip(10) is loaded into a door lock(100). A mobile phone reads RFID data stored in the RFID chip, and provides an ID number for the user in order to identify the user of the mobile phone and to operate the door lock. The mobile phone includes an RFID reader. The door lock includes the RFID chip for storing RFID data, an RFID recoding unit(11) for recording the RFID data in the RFID chip, and a control unit(12) for generating a mobile phone number and the ID number and outputting the generated information to the RFID recoding unit.
