THE PRODUCTION IMPLEMENTATION OF A LINEAR ERROR MODELING TECHNIQUE

A linear model is created, simulating the performance of the device under test. This model can incorporate cmpirical, a-priori, and physical estimates of the device output. This model is then analyzed to select test points that yield mathematical "insight" into the overall device behavior. As described in the references, the test points with the highest prediction variance ratio, or estimation uncertainty are added to a list of test codes (equation 2.)
